Deer Hunting November 10, 2010 Ground Blind Bow Hunt

Mike had an awesome 40+ yard bow hunt from a ground blind and we have it in slow motion for you. We thought that it was a miss at first but after looking at the blood on the arrow shaft we knew Mike made a kill. The Doe ended up about 50 yards from the killzone. We even had Doug hunting on another part of the property and he made two kills with a rifle at over 240 yards. It was an awesome day with great footage to share.

After the majority of leaves have fallen, the hardwoods become extremely bare. The lack of cover during the late season makes it a difficult time to hunt from a treestand, especially with a bow. This opens the door to creative ground blinds. Many variables go into the ability to effectively hunt out of a blind. This week, we dig into the different approaches for creating blinds that will enable you to score on a great late season buck this year.

i live in Michigan and we have property in Clare. im 15 and im a girl my dad has been hunting for many years maybe 34?? idk just a lot and he started with my uncles and they still hunt with us from time to time. they give me so much crap cuz im a girl and my dad says dont worrie about it you will get up there one day. they all have bucks my dad got a 10 pt last year and the lowest was a 6pt that my uncle got . i havent got one yet only 2 doe`s the last 3 years . how do i get a nice buck like they do??

i have 2 blinds one ground, and one tree stand
ground is by a row a pines and on the other side is r field. my tree stand is by the river thats on edge of my property……… my dad hunts thickets and walks my uncles r on the feild and apple trees … just to let u know my good family friend who is 26 hunts with me so nothing happens to me he just started thats why i think my dad wants him to hunt with me now!! lol

to me it seems like i hunt right like them but y is it that i always come out on the bottom??

i do sit there as long as they do cuz we grab everyone one by one so every one is safe and just cuz im a girl i can prob out shot u cuz i out shoot every one but my dad and uncle and thats cuz they were in the army …..(:
